Hiking a VOLCANO! | Truck Camping in Lassen Volcanic NP
Hello from another one of our beautiful national parks :) I have genuinely met outdoorsy folks who lived in California and even resided in Yosemite who had never heard of Lassen Volcanic National Park. Because of this, I was expecting it to be a bit underwhelming. I can confidently say I was so, so very wrong. The landscape reveals a healthy forest, stunning mountains, crystal clear alpine lakes, flourishing meadows, and numerous volcanoes of different types and sizes. While we only spent two full days in the national park, I easily could have filled an itinerary for four or five. Life on the road is a gift with some of the most pleasant surprises, much like our stay in Lassen. We hike to the peak of the national park along with completing two other serene trails and enjoy life on the road from our quiet and relaxing campsite. Thank you so much for taking part in this adventure - I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed filming it!
