Santa Pola and Tabarca. WHAT A GREAT CHOICE! I was looking for destinations to follow on this proposed TOUR OF SPAIN trip and received a message from a follower (now a friend). She saw me traveling through Alicante and wrote, "I have accommodations for you," and I, incredulous, ignored her at first. 😅 I uploaded another video and she wrote again, "You have to go to Santa Pola." I figured if someone recommended it to me, it must be good, so I listened to her and accepted Alejandra Machado's invitation. Once at my destination, I can truly say I'm very grateful for her recommendation. I wandered around the streets of Santa Pola and ended up heading to the port, where I received AN INVITATION from a company to visit Tabarca Island on their boats. So, without hesitation, I accepted and unlocked a new destination. Tabarca Island is tiny, and you can explore it all at your leisure in just a few hours. But it's a magical, isolated place where time stands still and you feel privileged. It's a perfect summer vacation destination.
