Why the Sony A7CII is my Favorite Camera...

I've been shooting as a pro photographer since 1985. I've had many cameras that I really loved like the Leica M4-P, the Nikon F3P, the Canon EF, the Canon 1Dn Mark II, the Sony A9, A9II, A1, A9III, and now the A1II. But in the tiny package that is the Sony A7CII, I discovered a tiny body that weighs just over one pound, a full-frame 33MP sensor that shoots great in really low light at high ISO's, a 10 fps motor drive, and even with 10 bit (4:2:2) video up to 4K 30P. It is the Swiss Army knife of cameras that allows me to use it for video production, landscape & nature, portrait work & head shots, photojournalism assignments, wedding reportage, and even sports as long as you use the on board mechanical shutter. When I go off on my long motorcycle trips, I never leave home without it. But perhaps most importantly, it's my camera of choice to photograph my family and when I do personal projects. This video comprises one or two images from most all of my assignments since I bought the camera in late 2023. Sadly, I forgot to include wedding photos of which there are many. Armchair experts are quick to point out that the A7CII and A7CR lack two card slots, and they are right. I've never used more than one card in my cameras ever, even those that have two slots. At the present time, I own 2- A9III's, 1- A1II, 2- FX30, 1-FX6, and an A6700. It's a pretty awesome group of cameras but when I do personal work, I reach for the A7CII first every time.
