Neos SmartCam - Continue using this camera after they shut it down! ONVIF & Home Assistant support!

PLEASE NOTE!!! ** Note there is a newer version of this firmware available so instead of following this guide please go over to the developers channel and follow the most recent one! ** Neos turned off the servers for the app and basically turned everyone's Neos SmartCam in to e-waste, or a paperweight... however, the amazing folks over at Thingino have produced a firmware and OS update that essentially makes this camera useable again AND makes it better than it was before with now options to view via RTSP and ONVIF you can integrate this camera in to your own NVR and Home Assistant. Might actually now be the time to buy one of these as they're going for free in some places as they're "useless" - you get a fairly decent quality, flexible camera with some amazing features now.
