Pingxi line. Great railway excursion from Taipei to Houtong (cat village), Shifen & Pingxi by train

The Pingxi Line is a branch line along the Yilan line, what is on it's turn a part of the conventional railroad along the main Island if Taiwan. The Pingxi line used to be a railway line, primarily for coal transportation and now a days it's a very popular touristic line (and of course it serves as a commuter line). Along the Pingxi Line there are some great things to discover, like Houtong (also known as cat village), Shifen, Pingxi and more.
