The meeting aims to discuss the political and field developments in the Gaza Strip. This high-level leadership gathering seeks to finalize the implementation steps for the first phase of the signed agreement, as well as to develop and study specific mechanisms for moving to the second phase. These intensive diplomatic efforts, sponsored by Egypt and supported by concerted regional efforts, aim to reach a consensus formula that guarantees an end to the war, a cessation of hostilities, and the fulfillment of the Palestinian people's aspirations.
