Here Dr Death talks about what went down after he tore his hamstring in the WWF Brawl For All Tournament. According to Williams, Jim Ross & Bruce Prichard tried to send him off to work for FMW in Japan, which was direct opposition to AJPW (All Japan Pro Wrestling). Steve was a legend in AJPW throughout the 90s and this relationship would have cost him his spot there. Dr Death also says that the WWF wouldn't let him come back to work after they begged him to sign with the promotion.
