This type of nightguard is perfect for patients who have sensitive teeth. Most patients that do not wear their nightguard daily experience pain after a few days due to teeth moving. The soft liner is a great alternative due to the manual adjustability. Just soak in warm/hot water and it softens the material just enough to adapt to moving teeth. Appliance takes a few extra steps to make and a thermal forming piece of lab equipment. I also recommend using bioplast before fabricating to achieve a much clearer nightguard.
