Can ancient myths give us an insight into modern science and reality? Antonio Chevez was born in the eastern region of EL Salvador, Central America and is best known by his people as an indigenous representative of the Maya-Lenca, a rural health worker and native artist. He was displaced by the Civil War in the early 1980’s, where his El Tihuilote village was destroyed, forcing him to become a refugee at the age of nine. @TEDxSouthBank This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
