Aline Winant is a singer-songwriter and actress whose music moves between intimate folk and French chanson, exploring themes of wandering, attachment, and the passage of time. Born in Belgium, she grew up between two languages and later between two countries before settling in Montreal, where she began writing her first songs. In 2023, she released her bilingual EP Suddenly Everyone’s a Stranger in My Family and has shared stages with artists such as Vanille, Shayna Hayes, Velours Velours, and Corail. Her debut album North, expected in 2026, reflects a rich and nuanced artistic journey, blending folk sensibilities with the poetic tradition of French chanson.
