Tariku also supported various charitable causes, including the Eye Bank of Ethiopia, demonstrating his commitment to giving back. On 10 December 2022, Tariku Birhanu passed away at the age of 38. His funeral service took place at Holy Trinity Cathedral on 12 December, where many celebrities and relatives gathered to pay their respects.
