EASIER Exhaling with EPR Pressure Adjustment (Expiratory Pressure Relief)
One of the challenges with CPAP sleep apnea treatment is fighting the CPAP machine pressure when you exhale. That's why brands like ResMed, Fisher & Paykel and Philips Respironics add a feature on their travel CPAP devices and at home units to adjust the pressure, called EPR (Expiratory Pressure Relief). When on, EPR detects when the user is breathing out and lowers the pressure being delivered to increase your comfort during sleep therapy. Note, that EPR goes by different names for different manufacturers - EZEX for Transcend, Z Breathe for Breas, as well as others.
