Part 1 of 2: We'll take you to the Isle of Skye and start a short hike to the waterfall in Sligachan. By this evening, we'll experience firsthand how annoying Scotland's famous midges really are. We'll continue with the campervan to Neist Point, the western end of the Isle of Skye. There, we'll spend a night with a magnificent view of the coast and start a short walk to a lighthouse the next day. Next, we'll drive to the island's most famous landmark, the Old Man of Storr. There, an overcrowded hiking parking lot awaits us, making it impossible to start our hike. As compensation, we're lucky enough to find a place to stay overnight nearby. It's also very crowded here, but our timing was perfect. We even have a direct view of the famous rock. The next day, we can start our hike. It's quite strenuous with a child and a backpack on our backs, but it's really worth it. We think we were able to capture some great shots, especially with the drone. Finally, we arrive at the very north of the Isle of Skye and experience the shortest night in over four years of motorhome vacations.
