The Stars Remain (Fate of the Starborn Nephilim)

Made with Suno (5.5) Originally intended to be a rewrite of "Where the Stars Still Glimmer," and an older song of these uploads, I was going for a unique approach for this folk rock themed one. It also may be my favorite among these along with the remake. Description from its remake counterpart below: Uploading a saga I've been working around the last couple weeks focused on the Watcher Kokabel ("Star of God") and the fate of its Nephilim. This swampy jungle region was initially explored in my stories leading into Sheol for the first time and the cult of Guthrek's presence here. Although outside of the wraiths and ruins, the remaining giants themselves had only been told in rumors of sightings. Once a mighty and sophisticated empire in the jungles south of Gevan, these Astrally gifted Nephilim would be among the most advanced among their strains, building structures considered alien and not notably replicated since their reign. After the flood swept the world and the war of the Watchers was over, a majority of the Nephilim had been cursed as wraiths (similar to others that met a wraithlike "Rephaim" fate such as Chazaqiel's), which lurk in the swamp's darkened waters. Some particular noteworthy giants however, had remained, rumored to be found walking amidst the ruins of their fallen kingdom and dwelling their palaces. Golden halls beneath astral tides, Children of the Watchers standing at your side. We learned the dance of spheres above, The hidden names the stars once spoke of. Mortals trembled far below, When we bent the night to crown our throne. [Chorus I — The Stars Remain] (huge choir enters) THE STARS REMAIN FOR ME, Though the flood has claimed my kingdom.
