Blow — a veteran columnist with a career she couldn't begin to match — made her pay for it in real time. This is the whole MAGA media strategy in one exchange: when you can't defend the indefensible, smear the person asking. Trump is stuffing the DOJ and intelligence agencies with personal loyalists and his own defence attorneys, and the right's answer to basic scrutiny is "you're just doing it for clicks."
