Thanks for watching...Tactical Scorpion AR500 steel + Condor MOPC = $185 body armor set! I spent a few months looking into a budget friendly body armor and plate carrier set up and I think that I found it here. Eventually I settled on the Condor MOPC plate carrier and Tactical Scorpion AR500 curved steel plates. Links for these items will be posted below. I only spent $185 for a good amount of personal protection that previously, I did not have. Given my size and weight, the plate carrier is just snug enough for me to be comfortable and easy for me to remove with the quick detach buckles on the shoulders.
