Today, twin brothers, Steven and Bryan Augustine should be celebrating their 39th birthday with family. But Steven will not turn 39 with his brother today. Steven was brutally assaulted on May 28, 2018, and after nearly two years living with catastrophic brain injuries, he passed away on April 17, 2020. Behind the very headlines about Steven, was a son, a twin brother, a brother, a friend, and a man deeply loved by those who knew him. In this special birthday episode, Mandi sits down with Steven's mother, Donna Augustine, and his sister, Tiffany Augustine, to share who Steven really was beyond the case. We were also briefly joined by his twin brother, Bryan Augustine. Later in the episode, Mandi was joined by Jose Torres of the Zero Tolerance Task Force to discuss the ongoing search for answers, including the February 18, 2026 Kingston Commissioner's Meeting, the denial of a FOIL request, and plans to hire a private investigator. Although Brandy was unable to participate in the interviews due to illness, she joins Mandi at the end of the episode to share her thoughts after hearing Steven's story.
