Apple Watch, WHOOP e Oura Ring: o que a CIÊNCIA diz sobre cada métrica | Cardiologista analisa

"You only slept two hours of deep sleep." "You burned 800 calories." "Possible atrial fibrillation detected." Your watch, ring, or bracelet has told you something like this — but how much of it is actually reliable? In this video, I take the most commonly used features of the Apple Watch, WHOOP, and Oura Ring — heart rate, HRV, electrocardiogram, sleep, blood oxygen (SpO2), VO2max, and calorie expenditure — and compare them to what studies show when these devices are tested against the gold standard: hospital ECG, polysomnography, and calorimetry. Spoiler: some of these devices come close to medical equipment in certain metrics — and are way off in others. Knowing how to separate these metrics changes how you make training and health decisions.
