Coping with Season-Ending Injury | Athletes Connected
All-American heavyweight wrestler Adam Coon met one of the toughest challenges of his athletic career in 2016: a season-ending injury. Adam’s pain went beyond the physical as his identity was stripped away, he felt isolation and helplessness and questioned his self-worth. Once he accepted the process of his rehabilitation, it got easier.
