The Science Special Search Party or Science Patrol is probably the most enjoyable attack team in the entire showa run of ultraman, the lighthearted tone of the series makes the Science patrol feel natural with its jokes and banter, all of the characters are enjoyable and fun to watch, they see growth over the course of the series too, so they aren't just these blank characters, they all are important with individual talents and skills. The theme of the Science Patrol like a lot of the themes in this franchise is based off a song, composed by Kunio Miyauchi, it gives the Science Patrol a triumphant and jazzy feel to it that I don't think was nailed later on the series.
