SCP-312 | Atmospheric Jellyfish (SCP Orientation)

SCP Orientation is an archive of files of the SCP Foundation. Today we will be studying Item number SCP-312: Atmospheric Jellyfish, Object class: Euclid. SCP-312 is an organism composed of very thin tissue layers and filled with atmospheric gases at a slightly higher temperature than the surrounding air. It typically floats several meters above the ground. SCP-312 is capable of creating a small lenticular cloud around itself by releasing water vapor and manipulating air currents, and uses this as camouflage. Within the cloud, SCP-312 is visually similar to a large jellyfish. SCP-312 preys upon large mammals and shows a strong preference for humans. Based on incident reports, the Foundation believes there are at least 3 uncontained instances of SCP-312 in the wild. Proceed to begin your training.
