From Chaos to Calm: Our Final Sail South | S2E20

We thought this would be a rough final sail… but it turned into something completely different. After arriving in Cartagena, we spent a couple of days exploring the city before setting off on what would be our last sail of the season. With dark clouds ahead, we were expecting the worst, but instead, we experienced the smoothest and MOST SATISFYING sail we’ve ever had... FINALLY ! For the first time, we sailed butterfly-style, running downwind with our Genoa and mainsail spread wide, and it was a GAME CHANGER. From a soaking wet dinghy ride… to golden sunrise arrival in Almerimar, this episode is everything we love about life on the water. And just like that… we’ve reached our winter home. ⛵️ In this episode: Exploring Cartagena, Spain Our wettest dinghy ride yet Learning to sail butterfly-style (first time!) Unexpected perfect sailing conditions A beautiful sunrise arrival in Almerimar Ending our sailing season If you’ve ever dreamed about sailing, adventure, or living life differently : you’re in the right place.
