Through photography, Federico narrates the reality of Colombia as seen from the most remote corners of the country. He has developed an artistic process exploring themes such as armed conflict, the environment, and their relationship to society. His work has been published in international media outlets such as The New York Times, National Geographic, Stern, Geo, Times Magazine, Paris Match, and Leica Magazine, among others. His photographs have been recognized with the Hansel-Mieth Prize in Germany (2019); First Prize, POY Latam News Series (2017); Jury Prize at Days Japan, International Photojournalism Award (2017); Portfolio Review, New York Times (2017); and the Eddie Adams Workshop XXVII in New York (2014).
