WEBBY EXPLORES: The Ansons Branch Canal

A one off exploration as I attempt to follow the line of the old Ansons Branch Canal, starting at Forsters Bridge on the Walsall Canal, I continue across the canal and make my way to Bentley Mill Way along the route of the former Ansons Branch Canal, passing over the Tame Aqueduct. I then make my way via road to Junction 10 of the M6 Motorway, once across the junction we pick up some old canal remains once again, before making my way to Reedswood Park and picking up the Ash Trail which follows the route of the former canal. I then head back onto Reedswood Park to make my way back to the Walsall Canal Canal and make the short walk to Birchills Junction where the Wyrley and Essington Canal meets the Walsall Canal.
