Ypres Historic Rally 2026 - SS1: Reninge ('SS3') - all cars (raw footage)

All cars on the first stage of the 31st Ardeca Ypres Historic Rally. This year, the Historic Rally has 4 stages on Friday. The modern rally does 2 loops, where the Historic Rally starts on SS3 and ends on SS6. (Officially, the stages have the same names as from the modern rally.) This way the Historic Rally does a single pass on all 4 Friday stages. SS Reninge is 10.05 km long and was won by Jari-Matti Latvala (101, Toyota Celica Turbo 4WD (ST185)) in 5:48.5 (avg 103.8 km/h). He was 8.3 seconds faster than Paul Lietaer (105, Subaru Impreza S5 WRC '98) and 12.1 seconds faster than Seb Perez (104, Lancia Stratos HF). For the Belgian championship competitors, Claudie Tanghe (176, Ford Escort RS 1800 MKII) was the fastest starter and completed the stage in 6:26.4 (avg 93.6 km/h), 3.6 seconds faster than Tom Boonen (175, BMW 325i E30), followed by Louis Tytgat (179, Opel Ascona A) another 3.5 seconds behind.
