TRU update: The changing face of Heaton Lodge Jct and Deighton Station

A visit to Heaton Lodge Junction near Battyeford, Mirfield, on the evening of April 11, 2024, produced an insight into how the Transpennine Route Upgrade work in the area is progressing, even though work had stopped for the day. Class 60 number 60021 livened up proceedings, heading west with a Drax to Liverpool Biomass freight.
