Gravel, Wind & Riding Solo | Reaching Turkey’s Legendary D915 | 50 Days on a Bike – Part 13
Gravel, wind, sharp bends — and the road everyone talks about. This is the day we finally reach Turkey’s legendary D915. Day 17 was cool and wet, but the day 18 of our 50-day motorcycle journey for the 50th birthday brings tension, patience running thin, and a decision to ride ahead alone. Too many stops, too much rushing — I needed my own pace. At least for the time being. Riding solo means quiet moments, better views and time to think. The closer I get to D915, the rougher the roads become: loose gravel on asphalt, strong winds and mountain scenery that demands respect. I don’t ride D915 yet — this episode is about getting there. The real challenge begins next. This is Part 13 of “50 Days on a Bike.” No drama. No shortcuts. Just the road, the bike and what comes next. Thanks for riding along — see you in the next episode.
