Godfrey Sang: Kalenjin extra-Biblical legends Traditional Myoot lore with Biblical parallels

Godfrey K. Sang is a historical researcher, published author and biographer with several titles published locally and internationally. He works as Head of Research at a publishing company and is currently engaged in a project to document ancient, near-modern and modern Kalenjin history. His research interests include the impact of colonial rule on various communities and has been engaged in documenting historical injustices in colonial Kenya. He has served as chief researcher in the legal process to address historical injustices among the Kipsigis and Talai people. He also has interests in denominational history and has also been a sub-editor and contributor to the online Encyclopedia of Seventh-day Adventists (ESDA). Godfrey Sang studied History at the University of Eastern Africa Baraton and has done some graduate studies at local and foreign universities including the University of Oxford (Jesus College) where he holds an active studentship. He has also been a visiting scholar at the University of Cambridge (Wolfson College) at the invitation of the Center for African Studies. He also serves as an adjunct lecturer in Modern Kenyan History at an American university with a Kenya semester program.
