A Hermit's Vocation Journey & Other Reflections | Fr James Genovesi

In third grade, James was told by the nuns at his school that someday he would be a priest, and they were right (they normally were!). Though there were several obstacles on his way, Fr James never gave up his love of Jesus, especially Him truly present in the Holy Eucharist, and his desire to be a Catholic priest. He was even ostracized by some of his teachers and fellow students during major seminary for spending "too much time" in adoration when he had free time. Father James Genovesi is now a consecrated hermit in the Diocese of Lacrosse, WI. He offers daily Mass, regular confession, and even healing prayers at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Hermitage near Custer, Wisconsin. Fr Genovesi has experienced many miracles there and we will have another video on our channel (maybe two!) about the hermitage and the many miracles Father has been a part of. Besides sharing some of his vocation journey, Father also shares reflections on Pope St John Paul II, Mother Teresa, Patrick Norton and Sister Annella Zervas.
