Loco Hauled around Cumbria: Blue Peter plus FOUR Class 90s on an Intermodal. 03 04 06 June 26

Filmed on 3rd, 4th and 6th June at Carlisle and Cark & Cartmel stations. A combination of appointments and illness have meant the recordings are a bit sporadic and sadly missed a lot of good stuff. On 3rd June Blue Peter brought the Fellsman in from Crewe and Chester. We also see the Logs pass through the station en route to Chirk. On 4th June I was at Cark, in south Cumbria on the Furness line to attend a Community Rail Partnership event at the station and then give a talk on its history that evening. Although a wet day, I did manage to catch a couple of freights - the Drigg to Shap sand empties and three nuclear flasks heading from Sellafield to Heysham power station. On 5th June I was kicked into action (thanks guys ) and recorded the afternoon freights through Carlisle - including Four 90s at the front of the afternoon Basford Hall intermodal - two under power and the others a power move. I also got that afternoon's Cement empties from Mossend to Clitheroe with a mix of wagons from Hanson and Castle Cement.
