I went inside the newly renovated Banreservas Arena Virgilio Travieso Soto during the Santo Domingo 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games. In this second episode of my daily behind-the-scenes vlog series, I take you through the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center, the taekwondo venue, the volleyball pavilion and one of the most important sports arenas in the Dominican Republic. We also watched part of the Costa Rica vs. Panama basketball game and Venezuela vs. Guatemala in volleyball. Later, I spoke with Aracelis León, president of the Venezuelan Baseball Federation, about Venezuela’s world championship, the road to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games and the future of Venezuelan baseball.
