Am I dead or am I dreaming? 👻 Bardo teachings are commonly believed to be concerned with death but in fact encompass the whole of the Buddha’s teachings. The Tibetan word bardo refers to an intermediate state, between past and future, a crossing or a junction, in which a decision has to be made. This place of decision, this cognizance, is the bardo. This bardo is none other than our buddhanature, innately perfect, which the bardo practices lead us to uncover and reveal. Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche explains the bardo states and their associated practices, drawing on commentaries by Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche and Tsele Natsok Rangdrol.
