闽南背山面海，人多地少 出海讨生活，是很多闽南人求生存的方式 明朝“隆庆开关”，漳州月港成为全国唯一合法的民间贸易港 商人出海，货物出口，需要大量远洋船只 再加上当地造船物料充足，月港一带的造船业迅速发展 造船产业在这里延续了数百年 郑家造船始于清末民初，主要建造16种木制船只 民国初年，郑氏先辈在漳州海澄创办崇兴船厂 郑水土师傅是这门手艺的第六代传承人 如今，钢铁让远洋船只安全性更高，走得更远 但在钢铁尚未出现的年代 郑家的木质帆船，也能承载闽南人闯世界的梦想 让我们跟着这艘船一起 一路向南洋 南洋叨位去 Seeking the South 下南洋，是闽南人长达数百年的迁徙 “南洋在哪里”“南洋怎么去” 世界进入AI时代 所有问题都不再难回答 新航道早已没有开往南洋的船 但南洋依旧水汽蒸腾 随着季风，形成闽南的雨 金色的海面 和一双一不小心湿润的眼睛 非遗传承人：郑水土——漳州福船造船技艺、漳州传统木帆船薯莨染帆技艺 —— 与土地重新连接 ROOTED AGAIN
