Today we reached another milestone on this trip: arriving at and exploring the famous Citadel of Machu Picchu. I think for me, and for any traveler, it's a dream come true. But seeing the citadel wasn't the only dream; the way the trip unfolded—being able to reach the hydroelectric plant on a motorbike, hiking through the jungle alone, and exploring Machu Picchu Pueblo—was incredible.
