Axonics update: I got the permanent done finally!!
Remember to asks about your portion of payments! Here was mine: 1. Dr. office portion $330 2. Anesthesiologist $400 3. Hospital portion $4,000 after insurance. (I was able to put $400 down on hospital portion & going to wait for final bill then make payments) Most hospital's also have charity applications if you can't afford your portion but must be filled out ahead of time, otherwise you can do it after & if approved you will get any money back you paid! FOLLOW your doctor's instructions so that you have a successful recovery! 1.Buy a grabber so that you don't have to bend to grab stuff. 2. Step stool to get on bed 3. Lay on good side 4. Pregnancy pillow is an awesome thing to have, keeps your from rolling over!! 5. NO sex stretch, bending, exercising, bicycling, hot tubs, swimming etc for at least 4-6 wks, your Dr. will let you know. 6. Should be only discomfort, not much pain if any. 7. Only take prescription pain meds if needed, Advil worked well for me, but everyone is different. 8. You should receive a folder with all information, Axonics has a website & YouTube channels too. 9. You'll have an Axonics Rep as well.
