TTHS D205 working with Phoenix to place police officer at Thornton

The Thornton Township High Schools District 205 board approved an intergovernmental agreement, with the Village of Phoenix to place a police officer, called a school resource officer, in this case, at Thornton Township High School in Harvey. Two years ago, the district began talks with the Cook County Sheriff's Office around a similar agreement but that fell through.
