Muang Ngoi is only accessible by boat. There are no roads for miles around. This small village is the perfect place for those seeking peace and quiet and nature lovers. Three trails lead through the dense rainforest to various viewpoints just beyond the village. It was the ideal start to our stay. We also always had our drone with us in our backpacks. The next few days took us to the surrounding villages. We visited the locals and hiked through rice paddies to caves and plantations. We spent the rest of our time relaxing in the small village and simply letting ourselves drift. Perhaps a visit to Muang Ngoi would be just right for you?
