Five days of motorcycle travel through asphalt, dirt roads, villages, and dust: in this video, Dario Tortora gives an inside look at the 2025 Transitalia Marathon, one of the most exciting adventouring events in Italy. From Rimini to Coriano, passing through the Marche, Umbria, and Tuscany regions, the route combines dirt roads, beautiful landscapes, technical sections, and a pace that rewards clarity, endurance, and the desire to truly enjoy the journey. The Transitalia Marathon is an immersive experience to be enjoyed stage by stage, almost like a role-playing game, with organizer Mirco Urbinati serving as game master: a figure who doesn't simply chart the route, but builds a narrative universe into which each participant enters with their own motorcycle, their own pace, and their own way of experiencing the adventure. In this context, we participated as guests of the Metzeler team, and it was an opportunity to put the Karoo 4 tires to the test. Designed for 50-50 use, they offered convincing performance on asphalt and consistent confidence on dirt, with a precise front end, good traction, and balanced behavior even on the most variable surfaces. That's exactly what you need when the terrain is constantly changing and the day alternates between asphalt, dust, rocks, and mud. This video tells the story of it all: the beauty of the territories we crossed, the fatigue of the five days, the group atmosphere, the most intense moments, and that final feeling that only trips well done leave, when you arrive tired but already thinking about the next edition.
