A BONGO IN CONGO (English version)

Hunting Africa's top trophy in the Congo rain forest. We had a great hunt, but I'm afraid to say that we also suffered terrible afterservice. After 14 months of delays and receiving faulty and delayed documentation I had to threaten the outfitter with legal action, and on 09/12/21 the trophies were finally handed over to a competent cargo agent and arrived in South Africa on 26/12/21 - 57 kg. of trophies in total, for which we had each been charged a handling fee of EURO 2.000! The arrogance and lack of attention to the export process has been simply unbelieveable, and unless you get a written undertaking that your trophies will be handled by a professional cargo company immediately after the completion of your hunt, you should stay far away from Congo Forest Safaris. When they claim a success rate of 85 pct. on forest sitatunga in their advertising, don't believe a word of it. On average only 1 or maximum 2 are bagged each season.
