The Hub is Cyrene's PVP focused area where we can't use our main planet side gear. We need 550,000 of these lime green reward tokens in order to obtain the Coat of the Proving Grounds. So, how can we farm these tokens quickly and efficiently? If you're a F2P player you may want to go to the proving grounds and try and get them off the floor but that is a VERY slow way to get lime green reward tokens. With 40,000% MU we want to farm these tokens as quickly as possible. We do have the option to talk to the Greeter and get a Duster Slicer which requires level 28 knife fighter and has 58.2% efficiency. Most people say this is the best weapon to use inside The Hub; but I disagree. Most of the weapons in the Hub trade terminal have low efficiency because they are designed to be used in the proving grounds where you have 10% ammo burn and 10% item decay due to special settings only found in the proving grounds. Needless to say using these weapons inside The Pit would be a horrible idea. But the Duster Slicer only has 5 PED TT value meaning you have to make frequent trips to the repair terminal which really cuts down on time actually spent farming. Instead I prefer to grab a set of armor and a FAP from the trade terminal and then I stock up on Psy Blades. The Psy Blade has 56.5% efficiency which is very close to the Duster Slicer but only requires 1/2 the profession levels, has slightly higher DPS and has a 20 PED TT value! In addition since this is a TT item we can buy as many as we want even though they are UL and can be repaired. By stocking up on these Psy Blades I can hunt non-stop without ever having to run to a repair terminal. That means MUCH less downtime due to repairs. As a result I spend more time farming and I am able to gather Lime Green Reward Tokens MUCH faster than players who ONLY use the Duster Slicer. Another issue is healing. Personally, I use the Hub TT FAP even though it's pretty horrible. This is about SPEED and using this costly FAP is MUCH faster than stopping to go planet side all the time. But what about players with a lot less HP and a lot less defense? In that case eco healing may be non-negotiable. You can press T to teleport out of The Pit. Then you can TP to any teleporter on Planet Cyrene. Once planet side you can use any FAP or healing device you have access to. There is one small glitch if you plan to use a Mindforce based healing device. When you arrive planet side you will need to use an Inserter to put the NeoPsion Booster Implant in place so you can use mindforce. When you return to the HUB this will not only be unequipped but it will appear to disappear from your carried inventory. THIS IS A GLITCH. The item is still there; you just can't see it. When you log out and log back in it will appear in inventory as usual. Because of this glitch players wanting to use a Restoration Chip, Adjusted will want to go to the PLANET SIDE trade terminal and stock up on NeoPsion Booster Implant 10's. They are 21.99 PED each and you can buy as many as you wish. This will allow you to jump in and out of the hub for super eco healing as often as you like (and your PED card allows). After much testing I estimate that to farm 550,000 Lime Green Reward tokens the average player will need to cycle 45,000 - 50,000 PED.
