The program follows a chronological path, from the 3rd to the 1st millennium BCE, beginning with Sumer (Uruk and Gilgamesh), continuing with the Hittite Kingdom (Hattusa and Tudhaliya IV), the Neo-Assyrian Empire (Dur Sharrukin and Sargon II), and the Neo-Babylonian Empire (Babylon and Nebuchadnezzar II), and concluding with Achaemenid Persia (Persepolis and Darius).
