Transmission Conversion Breakdown. Automatic to Manual Darion Farina is in the process of converting his 2004 Mazda Rx8 from automatic to manual, while his Renesis is serviced by Maple Racing. The engine is undergoing a more aggressive street-porting than it already had with machined coolant passages, and 6-port stationary gears.
