Newly appointed Bidco CEO gets accustomed to new role

http://bdafrica.com Newly appointed Bidco Group Chief Executive Thiagarajan Ramamurthy is slowly getting accustomed to his new role after a successful stint at regional retail chain, Nakumatt Holdings. In an exclusive interview with Top in Business Mr Ramamurthy aka’ RM as he is fondly known said his mission was geared towards expanding job opportunities and lure foreign direct investments to Kenya. This, he said would best be achieved via expansion of factories that locally source raw materials from local farmers. Bidco is currently putting up a water, juice and soda factory at its 84 acre parcel of land in Ruiru while its Thika based factory recently inked several deals with farmer groups that will see them receive soya beans and sunflower seeds for processing into edible oils.
