This solo trip to Hokkaido was a greedy car camping trip, aiming to enjoy Kushiro's ocean, lakes, and food all at once. First, I headed to Katsurakoi Cape to see the cool, isolated rock formation I'd spotted on a map, then enjoyed a leisurely lunch overlooking the ocean. For dessert, I indulged in a hearty parfait, then walked the path around Lake Kasumigaoka as a last-ditch exercise. That evening, I enjoyed Kushiro specialties Zangi and grilled whelk, and the next day, I thoroughly enjoyed the view of the ocean as spring approached.
