Nuchek: Past, Present, and Future of Chugach Cultural Sites | Ailie Johnson
Ailie Johnson discusses the history of Nuchek, one of approximately 130 Chugach cultural sites. She also shares about the Nuchek Culture Camp, reflecting on experiences there as both a child and an adult attendee. Ailie Johnson is the Executive Operations Specialist at Chugach Alaska Corporation. Her family is from Cordova, Alaska, and she grew up commercial fishing in Prince William Sound. Ailie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Harvard University in 2024 and went on to complete her Master of Business Administration at the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2026.
