BONUS: My Homemade Starch Recipe 🍯✨ As promised to a very special subscriber, here's the recipe for the starch I use to make fabrics perfect for appliqués: Ingredients: 1.5 liters of water 3 heaping tablespoons of cornstarch 200 ml of alcohol 100 ml of concentrated fabric softener (preferably white) Optional for Stronger Starch: 4 tablespoons of white glue (preferably Cascorez blue label) Preparation: Bring the water and cornstarch to a boil, stirring constantly. After it has cooled completely, add the alcohol and fabric softener (and the glue, if you want a stronger version). Mix well and put in a spray bottle. ⚠️ LU'S GOLDEN TIP: This starch is light and dries quickly. It's essential to let the fabric air dry before ironing to avoid stains. The glued version is excellent for structuring thin fabrics and making sewing easier!
