Sketching For Poster Design | Design Lesson

When it comes to design I always find sketching to be one of the most important parts of the design process. As we undertake the design process, ideas can often occur and the best way to capture them is to sketch them down. Sketching encourages us to think visually, get ideas out of our heads and bring them to life quickly. Sketching is where we can make mistakes, stumble upon ideas and develop our thoughts. I find sketching and exploring my ideas on paper first can lead to ideas I may not have had initially. In this video, I am going to demonstrate and share how I sketch my ideas for poster design and explain why this is a crucial technique you may find useful.
