Jean-Pax Méfret, une vie pour la grandeur de la France - Géopôles - TVL
Richard Haddad welcomes Jean-Pax Méfret, a former journalist who has traveled the world and a committed singer, famous for his freedom of speech. In this program, he will discuss his story, share his testimony, and his perspective on current events. Born in Algeria and repatriated to mainland France in 1962, Jean-Pax Méfret began a career as a journalist and then took up singing. From 1970 to 1980, he was a senior reporter in the foreign policy department of the newspaper L'Aurore, where he covered most armed conflicts and conducted major investigations into international terrorism. From 1980 to 2002, he was a senior reporter at Figaro Magazine and then editor-in-chief of major investigations. Through his work, he has witnessed various conflicts around the world and the behavior of the West and its leaders, particularly in the face of the communist Eastern bloc. But Jean-Pax Méfret is also a successful singer; his committed songs (more than 300) are like reports on our world. From French Algeria to the gulags of Siberia, from the heroes of the French army to the tyranny of communist regimes, his words still ring true in the face of current events. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 👉 TVL thrives on the support of its viewers! 👉 To donate: https://www.tvl.fr/don -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Find us on Odysee: https://odysee.com/@TVL:e Our Rumble channel: https://rumble.com/c/c-1081443 Our official Telegram channel: https://t.me/TVLofficiel Find us on: https://www.tvl.fr/ / tvlibertes https://twitter.com/tvlofficiel?lang=fr
