Faced with this urgent situation, the Ministry of Public Security and the Dak Lak Provincial Police quickly mobilized all forces, coordinating with local authorities and the people to launch a rigorous crackdown operation. After more than a month of persistent efforts, law enforcement completely dismantled this organization, prosecuting and detaining 91 suspects, effectively thwarting the subversive plot and restoring peace and stability to the villages of the Central Highlands. Information on Case 2: The organization "Provisional National Government of Vietnam," led by Dao Minh Quan (a US citizen), established in 1991 in California, was officially declared a terrorist organization by the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security in January 2018. Operating with the aim of overthrowing the Vietnamese state, this organization used the internet to lure and deceive gullible people in the country into participating in a virtual "referendum" campaign accompanied by unrealistic promises of money and positions. Faced with this plot, the police proactively detected, combated, dismantled, and thoroughly prevented it, firmly protecting national security and social order.
