Vía verde Senda del Oso en Gravel con la Megamo Jakar 30

The Bear's Trail is the most popular greenway in Asturias. It follows two former mining railway lines: the first runs from the Quirós Valley to Trubia station, and the second from Caranga de Abajo to the Teverga mines. Converted and adapted as a greenway, it has become a favorite destination for cyclists who want to enjoy a day surrounded by nature. The Y-shaped trail offers two options: Tuñón-Cueva Huerta (Teverga) and Tuñón-Ricao (Quirós). Both routes begin at the Tuñón rest area; initially, they run along the left bank of the Trubia River, but later cross to the right, continuing between the river and the road. It crosses four municipalities: Quirós, Santo Adriano, Proaza, and Teverga, which make up the region known as the Bear Valleys, a refuge for one of the last remaining populations of Cantabrian brown bear, one of the three brown bear species found in Europe. Discover its stunning landscapes and visit the bear enclosure where Paca, Tola, and Furaco live. The route passes through tunnels, over bridges, and through extraordinary places like the Peñas Juntas and Valdecerezales gorges, and includes a visit to the beautiful Valdemurio reservoir. Rock, bears, vegetation, water, and breathtaking scenery await you on this route, which deserves to be explored at least once. Route report on the blog: https://elblogdealakan.com/2021/09/20...
